Sneak Preview of ‘Taccuino Indiano’ (Indian Travel Journal)
I’ve recently started applying watercolor to the pencil sketches I made during our month in India this past winter. Whenever I find the time, I do a couple of pages here and there. My incredibly wonderful girlfriend bought me some fantastic new colors for my watercolor set, and I’m trying a new method of application which makes the colors really pop out.
The first image below is a close up of a full landscape sketch of the skyline of temples at Khajuraho.

This one is an unfinished image of one of the many bulls we passed in the streets. The subject of this particular sketch was a white ox, but I think I’m going to turn him into a dark chocolatey brown and black one… of which there were also many (although they were not considered as sacred as the white ones!).
